Approach

I started downloading the current game and doing some research about Asphalt 8 and their competitors.

After that I proceeded to map current screens and identifying hubs & spots.

Scenario

I've focused in the "Single Player" option and have created a scenario for an user going from the Main screen throught the flow until loading the game.

First sketches & Wireframes

I started doing some first sketches and created my first paper prototype for testing. After a few iterations I've created the wireframes of my design and done more testings to progressively improve my initial design based in the feedbacks received from users.
I've finally created the mockups and final arts and created my interactive prototype.

RESULT

The result is a clearer navigation with splitted information:

  • In the main menu only the navigation links.
  • In a separated new menu the profile and credits info.
  • A "Journey" bar to engage the user and provide information to the users about their exact situation in the flow and previous choices done.
